Iezalel

Iezalel is the thirteenth name of the Shem HaMephorash, the Great Name of God composed of 72 Hebrew trigrams drawn from verses 19, 20, and 21 of Exodus 14, each verse counting exactly seventy-two letters. This system is at the heart of practical kabbalah as transmitted by authors such as Robert Ambelain or Haziel in the twentieth century. Iezalel belongs to the choir of Cherubim, the second order of the first angelic hierarchy, governed by the archangel Raziel, the holder of the secrets of creation. With Gemini, a double-bodied Air sign, Iezalel opens a sequence of six angels with a mental, communicative, and relational register — a sensitive transition after the earthly density of the Taurus angels.

Kabbalistic tradition attributes to Iezalel the presiding over the reconciliation of spouses and associates, the restoration of mutual trust after a betrayal, and the strengthening of fidelity in lasting commitments.
