Aladiah draws his origin from the Shem HaMephorash, the seventy-two-syllable « Developed Name » extracted by kabbalistic tradition from three Hebrew verses of Exodus 14:19-21, each composed of seventy-two letters. These verses describe the crossing of the Red Sea, the moment when divine power manifests in its fullness to liberate a people. Aladiah is the tenth name in this sacred series, and the second angel belonging to the choir of Cherubim — the second angelic hierarchy, guardian of divine Knowledge — whose prince is the archangel Raziel, « Secret of God », keeper of celestial mysteries. Within this choir, the transmission of wisdom occurs not through authority but through inner illumination.

In the tradition of guardian angels as transmitted by Ambelain and Haziel, Aladiah is invoked to obtain forgiveness and rehabilitation. He presides over the healing of occult or karmic illnesses, the repair of errors committed through ignorance, and the restoration of an unjustly tarnished reputation. Under the influence of Taurus Earth, he anchors this clemency in the concrete: acts of reparation, perseverance in the right direction, patient and methodical reconstruction. His primary virtue is unconditional benevolence, which does not judge faults but accompanies their transcendence. He is also invoked by those who feel a sense of inner defilement and seek to recover their original purity.

To meditate upon Aladiah is to welcome the possibility of a new beginning. Where guilt freezes vital impulse, his light dissolves knots and reopens the space of possibility. For anyone carrying the weight of a repeated fault or failure, this angel reminds us that divine clemency always precedes human judgment. His presence invites us to set down unnecessary burdens, to acknowledge error without drowning in it, and to move forward with the recovered lightness of one who has been pardoned and who now chooses to act differently.
