Hahasiah holds the 51st position in the Shem HaMephorash, the divine Name of 72 syllables that Christian Kabbalah extracts from the three trinitarian verses of Exodus 14:19-21. He presides over 10°–15° of Sagittarius within the choir of Principalities, the sixth angelic hierarchy governed by Haniel, whose domain covers the divine grace circulating within human communities. The Principalities transmit sacred inspirations to groups, traditions, and arts. His name — meaning 'God hidden in all things' — expresses precisely the idea that divine presence is not absent from the world but simply veiled, awaiting the patient seeker who will lift the veil through the quality of their gaze.

According to Ambelain and Haziel, Hahasiah is the angel of occult sciences in the noble sense: medicine, spiritual alchemy, sacred botany — all disciplines that seek to decode the divine laws inscribed in nature. He is invoked by healers, therapists, researchers, and all those whose vocation is to place knowledge in the service of life. He is credited with the capacity to inspire decisive intuitions in moments when reason alone does not suffice, and to open access to strata of knowledge that exceed ordinary systems. He is also the angel who reminds us that true healing touches the whole being — body, soul, and spirit — and not merely one of its aspects.

To meditate with Hahasiah is to recognize that truly useful knowledge is always knowledge placed in service of something greater than oneself. He reminds us that behind every natural phenomenon — a plant that heals, a cycle that returns — stands a divine language approachable through patience and humility.
