Hahahel holds the 41st position in the Shem HaMephorash, the cycle of 72 divine names drawn from the three Hebrew verses of Exodus 14:19-21 by trilinear interlacing. He inaugurates the choir of Virtues (Dynameis in the Greek tradition), whose directing prince is the archangel Raphael, angel of healing, travel, and divine medicine. This change of choir — from Powers to Virtues — marks a significant elevation of register: Virtues are the angels of miracle and supernatural force, those who infuse themselves into matter to transform it from within, where human will alone would not suffice.

Hahahel is the angel of faith as an invincible inner flame. Tradition attributes to him the protection of those who exercise a spiritual or humanitarian mission: priests, monks, healers of the soul, therapists of the bond. He is invoked to strengthen perseverance in vocation, overcome temptations toward abandonment, and maintain clarity of intention in the face of prolonged difficulties and the doubts that accompany any authentic path. His name evokes the trinitarian mystery — faith held in the union of three realities — and grants those under his protection a rare inner stability, a constancy that does not display itself but never truly bends.

In contemporary life, Hahahel speaks to anyone who feels a calling — not necessarily religious — and doubts their legitimacy in following it. His breath says clearly that faith is not the absence of doubt but the choice to walk despite it, one step at a time. He is the angel of inner constancy, the kind that holds beings upright in the night of incomprehension, until the meaning of their path is revealed in the light of what they will have accomplished.
