Haamiah holds the 38th position in the Shem HaMephorash, the system of 72 divine names extracted from the three Hebrew verses of Exodus 14:19-21 by the trilinear method, where each name is composed of one letter drawn successively from the three verses according to a precise interlacing. He belongs to the choir of Powers, under the direction of prince Camael, angel of strength and transformation. His governance extends over 5° to 10° of Libra, an air sign that seeks balance, beauty, and justice in all forms of relationship, including the relationship with the sacred and the rituals that structure it.

His primary vocation is the guardianship and purification of rituals. Christian Kabbalah attributes to him the protection of sacred ceremonies, warnings against distorted or deceptive practices, and the ability to discern true spiritual paths from misleading counterfeits. He is the angel of those engaged in initiatic brotherhoods, mystical paths, and wisdom traditions, granting them the capacity to perceive both letter and spirit behind each ritual gesture. He is also invoked to preserve purity of intention in the act of prayer, and to guard against sectarian drifts or unbalanced spiritual influences.

In an era saturated with contradictory spiritual offerings, Haamiah carries a central question: what is the quality of my presence in what I practice? He is not the angel of frozen rite but of ritual sincerity — the living accord between the gesture performed, the word spoken, and the inner state that inhabits them. To sit in his breath is to learn to slow down enough so that each ordinary act may become, if one fully consents to it, a sacred act charged with genuine intention.
