Vasariah (ושר + El) is the 32nd name of the Shem HaMephorash, extracted from the trigram-reading of verses 19 to 21 of Exodus chapter 14. French kabbalistic masters, Ambelain foremost among them, render it as 'God just from the origin,' emphasising that divine justice is not reactive but constitutive of the world's being. Vasariah belongs to the choir of Dominions, the seventh angelic order of the Pseudo-Dionysian hierarchy as reinterpreted by Christian Kabbalah, placed under prince Tsadkiel. This choir exercises a regulatory function, imposing upon lower forces the just measures by which creation maintains its equilibrium.

Vasariah's traditional attributions revolve around equitable justice and clemency: he is invoked by those seeking a fair judgment, defending their case before a tribunal, or in need of moderation in the application of a rule. He teaches speaking with precision and without excess, weighing words before uttering them, never condemning without having heard all parties. He also fosters memory, eloquence and the capacity for synthesis — qualities associated with earth Virgo in which he is rooted.

Vasariah in meditation offers an essential reminder: true justice is not cold rigour but living righteousness that takes human fragility into account. His vibration invites examining one's own judgments — of oneself as much as of others — with the same benevolent severity as a wise judge. In the tradition of the Shem HaMephorash, he represents the Law not as constraint but as supporting structure, the silent skeleton that allows freedom to stand upright. This is a profound inversion of common perception: rather than experiencing rules as cages, Vasariah reveals them as the trellis along which the vine of genuine expression can grow. How to pray to Vasariah according to tradition

1. Recite its invocation verse, Psalm 33:4.
2. Meditate on its name, preferably during its regency period (August 25 – 29).
3. State an intention related to its domains: justice, clemency, equity, eloquence, righteousness.
