Haaiah

Haaiah is the twenty-sixth name of the Shem HaMephorash, the corpus of seventy-two divine names drawn from verses 19, 20, and 21 of Exodus 14. He belongs to the choir of Dominions, the first order of the median hierarchies in the classical classification derived from Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite. This choir is governed by archangel Tsadkiel whose name means 'Justice of God' and whose corresponding planet is Jupiter, star of expansion, law, and wise governance. The Dominions transmit to the lower angels the divine decrees concerning the order of creation and justice between beings. Haaiah presides over 5° to 10° of Leo, the solar sign of natural authority, radiance, and power assumed with nobility.

The kabbalistic tradition attributes to Haaiah a singular and barely visible role in the governance of human affairs: he is the angel of discreet diplomacy, of those who work in secret and without fanfare for the collective good, without seeking or expecting any public recognition whatsoever. He favors peace treaties concluded in sincerity, protects negotiators who work in the shadows, and inspires judges and arbiters who seek truth rather than glory or profit. Those under his protection are often people of great natural discretion, capable of holding the most sensitive confidences and acting with quiet effectiveness in the wings of the visible world. He wards off deception in political affairs and helps unmask those who usurp authority to the detriment of the common good.

In meditation, Haaiah teaches the rare and precious power of sacred secrecy: not the secrecy that conceals through fear or calculation, but that which protects what is still too fragile to be exposed to the light of the world. His Leo-Fire frequency burns without showing itself — like the sun behind thick clouds that warms the earth without being visible. To contemplate this angel in silence is to learn progressively that the most important and most fruitful actions are often those that no one will ever see.

Prayer to the angel Haaiah

Traditional prayer to Haaiah, to recite or meditate on during its regency period (July 26 – 30):

Haaiah, hidden God who acts in the shadow of the good, inspire in me the diplomacy of the heart — that discreet wisdom which builds peace without seeking a witness.

How to pray to Haaiah according to tradition

1. Recite its invocation verse, Psalm 119:145.
2. Meditate on its name, preferably during its regency period (July 26 – 30).
3. State an intention related to its domains: diplomacy, discretion, political justice, peace, governance.
