Full Moon Rituals: Illumination and Release
# Full Moon Rituals
The Full Moon is the peak of the cycle — the moment of maximum energy, illumination, and release. If the New Moon is the time to plant, the Full Moon is the time to harvest... and to let go of what no longer serves you.
## The Release Ritual
### Preparation
- Step outside if possible beneath the light of the Full Moon
- Place your crystals outdoors to recharge
- Prepare a fire-safe bowl and matches
### The Ritual
1. **Moon bathing** (5 min) — Bathe in the lunar light. Let it cleanse you.
2. **Inventory** — Write what you wish to RELEASE:
- Fears, doubts, resentments
- Toxic habits
- Relationships that drain you
- Limiting beliefs
3. **Burning** — Safely burn the paper. Watch the smoke carry away what no longer serves you.
4. **Gratitude** — Now write what you are GRATEFUL for this month.
5. **Recharging** — Place your crystals and your moon water (water in a jar) in the moonlight.
6. **Celebration** — Dance, sing, laugh. The Full Moon is a celebration!
## Moon Water
Place pure water in a clear glass jar under the Full Moon overnight. This charged water can be used to:
- Water plants
- Cleanse crystals
- Add to your bath
- Drink (if the water is safe to drink)
## A Note on Eclipses
During a **lunar eclipse**, traditional rituals are often discouraged because the energy is chaotic and unpredictable. It is a time for observation, not magical action.

The Guide's Counsel
"Remember that knowledge is only the first step. Practice reveals the truth."
