Wilhelm renders the guiding image as 'The movement of heaven is full of power; thus the superior man makes himself strong and untiring.' The dragon (lóng) is the emblem of this hexagram across all traditional commentaries: first submerged in the depths, then rising to the sky, finally soaring in full sovereignty. The judgment — sublime success, favorable through perseverance — does not promise ease; it promises that sustained creative initiative aligned with natural law will meet no lasting resistance.
