Not necessarily. Gate 36 makes you sensitive to intense emotional experiences and prepares you to move through them with grace. The goal is to learn to navigate emotions without intentionally provoking them.
By living through your own emotional crises fully, you develop a visceral understanding of universal human suffering, creating a unique capacity to accompany others through their difficult moments.
